CLINIC MANAGER
Meaghan plays a pivotal role in the seamless operation of the Centre. From assessing and updating policies to identifying innovative solutions for unique needs, each step in her day is approached with the end goal of ensuring all clients and therapists feel valued and cared for. As the primary point of contact for our team of therapists, Meaghan promotes a positive and collaborative environment by emphasizing the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. In addition, she ensures accurate and up to date records are maintained, oversees the Centre’s volunteer program, and manages relationships with vendors.
Fostering relationships that are genuine and heartfelt remains Meaghan’s top priority and is something that brings her great fulfillment in the work that she does. Throughout her more than 15 years of customer service experience, one thing has remained constant - her desire for meaningful connection. At the Centre, Meaghan endeavours to create an environment that promotes acceptance, inclusion, and community. She believes that the key to nurturing a healthier, more cohesive society is in placing greater value on the processes of healing, repair, and transformation.
Meaghan comes from a diverse professional background in academics, marketing, and organizational development, and possesses over 3 years of management experience in the health and wellness sector. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University, and a Master of Arts from the University of British Columbia.
Outside of her role as Clinic Manager, Meaghan is also a yoga and meditation instructor, and has completed over 250 hours of training in the principles of yoga and mindfulness. She approaches her practice from an accessible and trauma-sensitive lens, and intends to pursue further study in yoga therapy, with a particular interest in supporting individuals living with chronic illness.
