Marjan’s practice is rooted in empathy, connection, and safety. She supports her clients through painful experiences and helps them realize and strengthen their capacity for resilience and to cultivate a meaningful life. She has an appreciation for the unique background of every client and a genuine desire to learn their story. Marjan provides a warm and collaborative environment for healing, empowerment, and transformation to occur.


Marjan is completing her doctoral degree and holds a Master of Arts in Clinical & Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto. Marjan has a strong background in psychological assessment and therapy with diverse populations. She has nearly a decade of experience in the field and has trained in hospitals, private practice, and university settings.   


Marjan has worked with clients presenting with a range of concerns related to depression and mood, anxiety, medical and health conditions, physical injuries, life transitions, trauma, grief, relationship and family issues, eating and body image, self-esteem and reconnecting with self, and women’s issues including fertility, pregnancy and losses, and perinatal and postpartum mental health. She uses an integrative approach drawing from person-centered therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, somatic therapy, and self-compassion.


Marjan emphasizes holistic well-being and mind-body connection, and tailors her approach based on each client’s needs, values, goals, and comfort. Marjan is passionate about helping her clients. She values being a part of the healing process and feels honoured to assist in the journey.
