She completed her predoctoral residency at The Ottawa Hospital, where she provided individual therapy for adults experiencing various health related issues across multiple medical units including acute care, in-patient mental health, and outpatient rehabilitation. She also provided group therapy for individuals who needed support in managing and learning about their emotions.

Her therapeutic approach incorporates the belief that ‘we are all experts in our unique life experiences’, as such she views her role as applying her skills to support individuals in reaching their therapeutic goals. Ultimately, she works to foster a safe therapeutic space in order to support her clients’ personal growth. Her approach to psychological treatment draws upon various evidence-based models including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Client-Centred Therapy.
